Jesus' tears stroke the world and the statue was brought to the small wooden chapel in Wies, near Munich , Bavaria . Too many pilgrims coming to pray and get forgiveness from our Lord made local congregation start constructing the church which aimed to glorify Jesus' sacrifice and love. The Wieskirche is regarded as the pinnacle of Bavarian Rococo architecture and indeed is one of the most beautiful Rococo churches I've ever seen.
